More information on our artists

Within their serene studio environments you will be able to informally chat to the artists, find out what inspirations they draw on and potentially see them at work.
 

The artists' repertoire includes painting, drawing, ceramic art, sculpture, pottery, printmaking and hand made books.

Mixed media painting adopted by some artists demonstrate the use of ink, aluminium, coffee and bitumen.  Acrylics and pastels as well as a combination of graphite, charcoal and oil paint mediums have been adopted by other artists.  Another unique technique adopted by one of our artists is the use of banana leaves from her garden.

Exquisite pottery depicts bird and poetry motifs whilst a stunning ceramics range includes unique didgeridoos and fine tableware and gifts.

2 hour workshops provided on request

We offer the option of incorporating a hands on 2 hour workshop into the ArtEssence tour.  Should this be requested, the itinerary will incorporate a 2 hour workshop in the morning followed by one art gallery visit, lunch with optional wine tasting then visiting 2 Artists in their studios.  Please contact us for further details and costs.

* Pick up and drop off is from / to the Gold Coast and Tamborine areas.  Times may vary according to the location you are picked up from / dropped off at.  Please contact us if you are unsure whether your location classifies as the pick up / drop off Gold Coast area.  We also pick up from Helensvale railway station which has a direct rail link to Brisbane city so you can enjoy a stress free and traffic free journey from Brisbane.
